💞Encouraging Mondays: “Be Immovable”
😊Good, Blessed Encouraging Mondays, Family, Friends & New Encouragers!
📖SCRIPTURE READING — (NLT)
1 Corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
💛 ENCOURAGING MONDAYS REFLECTION
“Not Shaken by What Shifts”
Family…
Last week we focused on being steadfast — the internal posture.
Today, we move to the next word in this powerful verse:
Immovable.
Steadfast is about what’s rooted within you.
Immovable is about what happens when pressure comes from outside of you.
God is inviting us to examine what moves us.
Immovable does not mean rigid.
It does not mean stubborn.
It does not mean refusing growth.
It means anchored.
It means that when opinions rise, you don’t abandon your obedience.
When circumstances shift, you don’t abandon your integrity.
When relationships change, you don’t abandon your calling.
This is not about perfection.
It is about spiritual stability.
The Lord is gently reminding us that external pressure reveals internal anchors.
People shift.
Feelings shift.
Support shifts.
Opportunities shift.
But God does not shift.
Being immovable means:
“My foundation is not approval.
My foundation is not applause.
My foundation is not comfort.
My foundation is the Lord.”
You may feel disappointment.
You may feel frustration.
You may feel uncertainty.
But feelings are not foundations.
God’s presence brings steadiness in unstable environments.
You can bend without breaking.
You can feel without falling apart.
You can stand without becoming hardened.
Immovable means that even when everything around you feels uncertain, your trust in God remains steady.
External pressure does not cancel divine purpose.
And what you do for the Lord — even when misunderstood — is not in vain.
💛ENCOURAGING THOUGHT FOR TODAY
If you’ve been feeling:
• discouraged by someone’s opinion
• unsettled by a shifting relationship
• pressured by circumstances you did not plan for
Pause and remember:
You are not rejected.
You are not forgotten.
You are not out of reach.
God is still speaking.
God is still drawing.
God is still walking with you.
Be immovable.
🍎TEMPLE CARE CHECK-IN
This journey is not about guilt or extremes.
It’s about awareness, stewardship, and grace.
External pressure affects the body too.
You may be:
• consistent
• restarting
• adjusting
• learning
• observing
And all of it still counts.
Pay attention to your physical stewardship this week.
Are you resting?
Are you hydrating?
Are you moving gently?
Are you breathing deeply?
Spiritual stability and physical stewardship work together.
Care for the temple while standing firm in truth.
🙏🏼CLOSING PRAYER
Father God,
Thank You for being our unshakable foundation.
When opinions rise, anchor us.
When circumstances shift, steady us.
When relationships change, ground us in You.
Teach us how to stand without becoming rigid.
Teach us how to feel without becoming unstable.
Teach us how to trust without demanding control.
Make us immovable in You —
not defensive in fear,
not hardened in pride,
but anchored in truth.
Let our stability reflect our trust in You.
In Jesus’ Perfect Name,
We Praise and we Pray,
Amen.
🙏🏼DAILY PROCLAMATION
Before we close, I want to invite you—only if you feel led—to say a daily proclamation with me.
This is the proclamation I return to daily.
Not out of perfection, but out of surrender.
From Survival to Surrender — My Daily Proclamation
God, today I stop negotiating with You.
I stop hiding parts of my life behind excuses, wounds, and fear.
I stop managing sin instead of surrendering it.
I stop calling survival “strength” when it is really exhaustion.
I release every attachment that feels good but pulls me away from truth.
I let go of relationships, habits, and cycles that soothe me temporarily but cost me spiritually.
I acknowledge what I already know:
what does not align with You cannot heal me.
Today, I surrender control.
I surrender comfort.
I surrender timing.
I surrender the false intimacy I’ve used to avoid true wholeness.
I choose alignment over appetite.
Obedience over urgency.
Healing over hiding.
God, I no longer want to survive — I want to live whole.
I invite You into every area I’ve kept guarded, delayed, or divided.
Lead my life.
Heal my heart.
Reorder my desires.
From this moment forward, I choose surrender —
not because I am weak,
but because You are strong.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name,
We Praise! Amen & Amen!
