🧸🎯 Knowing Our Salvation Is in Jesus

📖 Today’s Bible Verse

1 John 5:11–13 (NLT)

“And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.”

🧸😊 Let’s Learn Together

Have you ever wondered whether something was really yours?

Maybe someone gave you a gift, and you asked:

“Is this really for me?”

Sometimes people can have questions about God too.

They may wonder:

Does Jesus really love me?

What happens when I make a mistake?

Can I really know that I belong to Him?

Today’s Bible verses give us something wonderful to remember.

The Bible says that eternal life is in Jesus Christ.

God sent His Son, Jesus, because He loves us.

Jesus is our Savior.

When we place our faith in Him, we do not have to keep wondering whether we can somehow become good enough to save ourselves.

We cannot save ourselves.

Salvation is God’s gift through Jesus.

And 1 John tells believers something very important:

We can know.

Our feelings may change.

One day you may feel really happy.

Another day you may feel sad.

You may have a day when you make great choices.

And sometimes you may make a choice you know was wrong.

Making a mistake does not mean you should hide from God.

You can talk to Him.

You can tell Him the truth about what happened.

You can ask Him to forgive you.

You can listen when He shows you a better way.

And you can keep growing.

God’s correction does not mean He has stopped loving you.

Think about when someone who loves you teaches you how to do something differently.

They may say:

“Let’s try that again.”

The correction is meant to help you grow.

God teaches us too.

The Holy Spirit helps us recognize when something needs to change and helps us learn how to live more like Jesus.

Knowing that our salvation is in Jesus does not mean we say:

“I can do anything I want because it doesn’t matter.”

Our choices do matter.

Because we love Jesus and are thankful for what He has done for us, we should want our lives to honor Him.

We can say:

“Thank You, Jesus, for loving me. Help me live in a way that pleases You.”

And when you have questions, remember what God’s Word says.

Your hope is not in being perfect.

Your hope is in Jesus Christ.

🙏🏼 Today’s Prayer

Faithful LORD,

Thank You for loving us and for giving us eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Thank You, Jesus, that You are our Savior, our Redeemer, and our LORD.

Thank You that we do not have to be perfect to earn Your love or save ourselves.

Holy Spirit, thank You for continuing to teach us, correct us with love, and help us grow.

When we make a wrong choice, thank You for helping us be honest, ask for forgiveness, and learn a better way.

When we have questions or feel unsure, thank You for reminding us what Your Word says.

Thank You, Jesus, that our hope is in You.

Help our lives show how thankful we are for Your love and salvation.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

🧸🤔 Think About It

What does it mean to you to know that Jesus is your Savior?

When you make a wrong choice, what can you do instead of hiding from God?

🧸 Living It Out

This week, remember one simple truth:

My hope is in Jesus.

If you make a mistake, do not run away from God.

Stop and talk to Him.

You can say:

“Jesus, I know that choice was wrong. Please forgive me and help me make a better choice.”

Then listen, learn, and keep growing.

You do not have to spend the rest of the day telling yourself:

“I’m terrible.”

Instead, remember:

Jesus loves me.
Jesus teaches me.
Jesus forgives me.
And I can keep growing.

🍎 Temple Care

Sometimes we can think the same way about taking care of our bodies.

Maybe you forgot to drink enough water.

Maybe you stayed on your screen too long.

Maybe you did not get as much movement as you planned.

That does not mean you give up.

You can simply make another healthy choice.

Drink some water.

Stretch.

Play outside.

Choose something nourishing to eat.

Take a break from your screen.

Get the rest your body needs.

Taking care of yourself is something you can keep learning one choice at a time.

🧸 Encouragement for Today

You do not have to be perfect.

You are still learning.

You are still growing.

And when you make a mistake, you can bring it to God.

Jesus is our Savior.

God keeps His promises.

So keep trusting Him.

Keep learning.

Keep growing.

And remember:

Your hope is in Jesus Christ.

🧸😊 Today’s Proclamation

Jesus is my Savior.

My hope is in Him.

I can talk to God when I make a mistake.

I will listen, learn, and keep growing.

I know Jesus loves me.

💖😊 MUCH LOVE FOR YOU ALL.

😊😎 Have a Blessed, safe, wonderful Encouraging Monday & Week!

A Special Back-to-School Poem for Children

God Is with Me at School

By Shawna S.

When morning comes and school begins,
I take a breath and wear a grin.
If something feels a little new,
I know that God will see me through.

I meet the girls, I meet the boys,
We learn and laugh with books and toys.
We count, we color, we sing and share,
And God is with me everywhere.

The ones who love me hug me tight
And tell me, “You’ll be all right.”
Even when they’re not in view,
God stays close in all I do.

My teacher welcomes me with cheer,
And helps me know I’m safe right here.
We read and write, we laugh and learn,
We raise our hands and take our turn.

With every lesson, game, and rule,
I know God stays with me at school.
I can be brave and try what’s new,
Because God’s love is strong and true.

📖 Scripture

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged.

For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 (NLT)

🙏🏼 Loving God,

Thank You for loving us and being with us as we go to school.

Help us feel safe and ready to learn.

Help us listen to our teachers, make new friends, and enjoy our school day.

Thank You for the people who love and care for us, and thank You

for being with us at home and at school.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

🎯Welcoming the Daily Filling of the Spirit

📖 Today’s Bible Verse

📖 Galatians 5:16 (NLT)

“So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.”

💛🧸Let’s Learn Together

Good, Blessed Encouraging Mondays, Boys, Girls & Families!

Have you ever needed help doing something?

Maybe you were learning how to tie your shoes.

Maybe you were trying to understand your schoolwork.

Maybe you were learning how to ride a bike.

Maybe you were trying to make a good choice when you were upset.

Sometimes we need help.

And guess what?

God knows that.

God does not expect us to live the Christian life all by ourselves.

He gives believers the Holy Spirit to help guide us.

Today’s Bible verse says:

“Let the Holy Spirit guide your lives.”

To guide means to help show us the way.

The Holy Spirit can help us learn how God wants us to live.

He can help us remember what God’s Word teaches us.

And we can ask for His help during our regular, everyday lives.

Maybe your brother or sister makes you angry, and you want to yell.

You can stop and ask God to help you respond with kindness.

Maybe someone at school wants you to do something you know is wrong.

You can ask God to help you make the right choice.

Maybe you see someone sitting alone and feel like you should say hello.

You can choose to be kind.

Maybe you said something hurtful and know you need to apologize.

You can ask God to help you say:

“I’m sorry.”

Maybe you are worried about something and don’t know what to do.

You can pray.

The Holy Spirit’s guidance isn’t only for church.

God cares about what happens at home.

At school.

On the playground.

When you’re with your friends.

When you’re playing a game.

When you’re online.

And everywhere else you go.

Every morning, you can begin your day with a simple prayer:

“Holy Spirit, lead me today.”

Then, throughout the day, remember to stop and think before you make a choice.

Sometimes you might still make the wrong choice.

We all have things to learn.

When that happens, be honest with God.

Ask for forgiveness when you need to.

Learn from what happened.

Then keep growing.

You don’t have to learn everything about following God in one day.

Walking with God happens one day at a time.

And every new day is another opportunity to listen, learn, and follow where He leads.

🙏🏼Today’s Prayer

Gracious LORD,

Thank You for giving us the Holy Spirit to help guide us.

Thank You that we do not have to figure everything out by ourselves.

Help us remember to ask for Your direction every day.

When we are angry, help us stop before we react.

When we are confused, help us pray.

When someone wants us to make a wrong choice, give us courage to choose what is right.

When we need to apologize, help us say we are sorry.

When we have an opportunity to show kindness, help us choose kindness.

Help us listen to You at home, at school, with our friends, and everywhere we go.

Teach us to trust You and follow Your direction one day at a time.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

😊🤔 Think About It

  1. What do you think it means to let the Holy Spirit guide you?

  2. When could you stop and ask God to help you make a good choice?

  3. What is one way you can ask the Holy Spirit to help you this week?

💛 Living It Out

Tomorrow morning, before you begin your day, take a quiet moment with God.

You can pray:

“Holy Spirit, lead me today. Help me listen to You and make choices that please God.”

Then remember one important word throughout your day:

STOP.

Before you yell because you’re angry—stop.

Before you follow someone who is making a wrong choice—stop.

Before you say something hurtful—stop.

Before you decide you can’t do something—stop.

Take a moment to pray and think:

“What would God want me to do?”

Then try to make the choice that honors Him.

If you make a mistake, don’t give up.

Talk to God, learn from it, and try again.

You’re learning to follow His direction one choice at a time.

🍎Temple Care

The Holy Spirit can also help us make wise choices about taking care of our bodies.

Maybe your body needs some water.

Maybe you need to get up and move.

Maybe you’re tired and need some rest.

Maybe you need something nourishing to eat.

Maybe you’ve been looking at a screen for a long time and need a break.

Ask:

“LORD, help me take good care of the body You gave me.”

Then choose one healthy thing you can do today.

Drink water.

Stretch.

Play outside.

Rest.

Eat something nourishing.

Or take a break from your screen.

One healthy choice is a good place to begin.

💛🧸 Encouragement for Today

You don’t have to figure out everything by yourself.

God is with you.

When you don’t know what to do, you can pray.

When you’re having a hard time making a good choice, you can ask for help.

When you’re angry, you can stop before reacting.

When you make a mistake, you can learn and keep growing.

You can begin every morning by saying:

“Holy Spirit, lead me today.”

Then keep listening.

Keep learning.

Keep trusting God.

And keep following Him one choice at a time.

🧸 Today’s Proclamation

Today, I welcome the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

I do not have to do everything by myself.

I will ask God to help me make good choices.

I will listen, learn, and keep growing.

Today, I choose to let the Holy Spirit guide me.

💞😊 MUCH LOVE FOR YOU ALL.

🎯 Walking in the Light

📖 Today’s Bible Verse

1 John 1:5–7 (NLT)

“This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.”

💛🧸 Let’s Learn Together

Good, Blessed Encouraging Mondays, Boys, Girls & Families!

Have you ever walked into a dark room and turned on the light?

As soon as the light comes on, you can see what was already there.

Maybe you see a toy on the floor.

Maybe you see something you need to pick up.

Maybe you can finally see where you are going.

The light did not put those things there.

The light helped you see them.

Today’s Bible verse tells us that God is light.

That means God is always good and true, and His truth helps us see how He wants us to live.

Sometimes God may help us notice something in our own lives that needs to change.

Maybe we were not telling the truth.

Maybe we were being mean.

Maybe we said something hurtful.

Maybe we did not want to share.

Maybe we were angry and reacted in a way that was not kind.

Maybe we know we need to say, “I’m sorry.”

When God helps us notice something like that, we do not have to hide from Him.

God already knows us.

We can talk honestly with Him.

We can say:

“LORD, please show me what You want me to see.”

And when He shows us something, we can ask Him to help us make a better choice.

Walking in God’s light does not mean we never make mistakes.

It means we are willing to be honest when we do.

We can tell the truth.

We can ask for forgiveness.

We can apologize.

We can forgive somebody else.

We can learn.

And we can keep growing.

God’s light also helps us when other people are making wrong choices.

Maybe someone is being mean at school.

You do not have to be mean too.

Maybe other children are gossiping or making fun of someone.

You do not have to join them.

Maybe somebody tells you to do something you know is wrong.

You can choose to walk away.

God’s Word helps us know which way to go.

Psalm 119:105 tells us that God’s Word is like a light for our path.

And Jesus tells us that He is the light of the world.

So when we are not sure what to do, we can ask:

“What would Jesus want me to do?”

Then we can pray, listen, and choose what is right.

Walking in the light means we do not have to pretend.

We can be honest with God.

We can let Him help us.

And we can keep learning to live more like Jesus.

🙏🏼 Today’s Prayer

Holy and Loving LORD,

Thank You for being light and for helping us know what is right.

Thank You that we do not have to hide from You.

When we make a mistake, help us be honest.

When we hurt someone, help us apologize.

When someone hurts us, help us forgive.

When we are tempted to follow a wrong choice, help us stop and remember Your way.

Please show us anything in our hearts, words, attitudes, or choices that needs to change.

Help us listen to Your Word and follow Jesus.

Thank You for loving us, forgiving us, teaching us, and helping us grow.

May Your light shine through the way we live and treat others.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

🤔🧸 Think About It

  1. What do you think it means to walk in God’s light?

  2. What can you do when you realize you made a wrong choice?

  3. Is there something you can do this week to show more kindness, honesty, or forgiveness?

  4. What can you ask God when you are not sure whether something is right or wrong?

😊 Living It Out

This week, take a few quiet minutes and ask:

“LORD, is there anything You want me to see or change?”

Then think about your day.

Maybe you need to:

Tell the truth.

Say you are sorry.

Forgive someone.

Share.

Use kinder words.

Walk away from something wrong.

Or ask God to help you make a better choice next time.

Choose one thing to work on.

You do not have to fix everything at once.

Just keep listening to God and taking one good step at a time.

🍎 Temple Care

Walking in the light can also mean being honest about how we are taking care of our bodies.

Maybe you know you need more sleep.

Maybe you need to drink more water.

Maybe you have been sitting with a screen for a long time and need to get up and move.

Maybe you need something nourishing to eat.

Maybe you need some quiet time.

You do not have to feel bad about it.

Just notice what your body may need and make one healthy choice.

You can pray:

“LORD, help me take good care of the body You gave me.”

Then take one simple step.

Drink some water.

Stretch.

Play outside.

Rest.

Eat something nourishing.

Or take a little break from your screen.

😊 Encouragement for Today

You do not have to hide from God.

He already knows you, and He loves you.

When God helps you notice something that needs to change, it does not mean you are a bad person.

It means He is helping you grow.

So be honest.

Tell the truth.

Ask for forgiveness.

Say you are sorry when you need to.

Make a better choice when you can.

And keep following Jesus.

Remember:

God’s light helps us see.
God’s Word helps us know the way.
Jesus helps us keep walking in the light.

🧸😊 Today’s Proclamation

Today, I choose to walk in God’s light.

I will be honest with God.

I will listen to His Word and choose what is right.

When I make a mistake, I will learn and keep growing.

I will keep following Jesus in the light.

💞 Love you all much!

😎😊 Have a Blessed, safe, wonderful day, week, summer, and school year!

🎯 You Already Have What You Need to Live for God

Today’s Bible Verse

📖 2 Peter 1:3–4 (NLT)

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.

We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to

himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises.

These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape

he world’s corruption caused by human desires.

😊🧸 Let’s Learn Together

Good, Blessed Encouraging Mondays, Boys, Girls & Families!

Did you know that God has given us what we need to live for Him?

Sometimes we might think:

“Being good is too hard.”

“I can’t do the right thing all the time.”

“Everybody else is doing it.”

And you’re right about one thing—we cannot live a godly life perfectly by ourselves.

We need God.

That is why today’s Bible verse is so encouraging.

2 Peter 1 tells us that through His divine power, God has given us everything we need to live a godly life.

A godly life means living in a way that pleases God and shows His love to others.

We can be kind.

We can tell the truth.

We can forgive.

We can pray.

We can obey.

We can show love.

And when we make a mistake, we can ask God to forgive us, help us learn, and keep growing.

But God doesn’t expect us to do all of this without Him.

As we spend time with God, pray, read His Word, and learn more about Him, He helps us become more like Him.

And there’s something else important in today’s Scripture.

We don’t have to copy everything other people do.

Maybe someone at school is being mean.

That doesn’t mean you have to be mean too.

Maybe other children are making a choice you know is wrong.

You can choose to do what is right.

Maybe someone hurts your feelings and you feel like hurting them back.

You can stop, pray, and ask God to help you respond His way.

You won’t always get everything right.

None of us do.

But you can keep learning and growing with God.

When something feels hard, remember:

God is with me.

God will help me.

God has given me what I need to live His way.

You don’t have to become like everything you see around you.

As you grow closer to God, He will help His love, kindness, truth, patience, and goodness show through your life.

🙏🏼 Today’s Prayer

Perfect LORD,

Thank You for giving us what we need to live a godly life.

Help us grow closer to You and learn more about who You are.

When we have a difficult choice to make, help us choose what pleases You.

Help us be loving, kind, truthful, forgiving, patient, and obedient.

When other people make wrong choices, help us remember that we do not have to copy them.

And when we make mistakes, help us ask for forgiveness, learn from them, and keep growing with You.

Thank You for Your love, Your Word, Your help, and for always being with us.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

🤔 Think About It

  1. What do you think it means to live a godly life?

  2. What is one way you can show God’s character through the way you treat someone this week?

  3. What can you do when other people are making a choice you know is wrong?

😊🧸 Living It Out

This week, choose one way to live God’s way each day.

Maybe you can:

Tell the truth when it would be easier to lie.

Be kind to someone who needs a friend.

Forgive someone who hurt your feelings.

Help without being asked.

Walk away when someone wants you to do something wrong.

Or stop and pray before reacting when you’re upset.

Each morning, ask:

“God, please help me live Your way today.”

Then look for an opportunity to do it.

At the end of the day, think about one way God helped you make a good choice.

🍎 Temple Care

God has also given us bodies that need love and care.

You don’t need lots of special things to begin taking care of yourself.

You can use what God has already given you.

Drink water.

Eat foods that help your body grow strong.

Move your body and play.

Get the rest you need.

Take quiet time away from screens.

And spend time talking with God.

Taking care of yourself is another way to be thankful for what God has given you.

😊 Encouragement for Today

You don’t have to be perfect to live for God.

And you don’t have to do everything by yourself.

You have God.

When you don’t know what to do, ask Him for help.

When you make a mistake, learn from it and keep growing.

And when other people choose something wrong, remember:

You don’t have to follow the crowd.

God can help you choose love.

God can help you choose kindness.

God can help you choose truth.

God can help you choose what is right.

God has given you what you need to live His way.

🧸 Today’s Proclamation

God has given me what I need to live for Him.

I will stay close to God and learn His ways.

I will choose love, kindness, truth, and what is right.

I do not have to follow wrong choices around me.

With God’s help, I can live a godly life.

💞MUCH LOVE FOR YOU ALL.

Did you know God wants every child to grow up in a home where they feel loved and safe?

A safe home isn’t about having the biggest house or the most toys.

A safe home is a place where people care for one another, help one another,

pray together, and show the love of Jesus every day.

Sometimes everyone has a hard day.

Sometimes we feel tired.

Sometimes we make mistakes.

But with God’s help, we can always choose to be kind, forgive one another,

and keep loving each other.

God wants us to listen when others are talking.

He wants us to use kind words.

He wants us to tell the people we love that we love them.

Those simple things help make a home a wonderful place to grow.

Remember, you are a very special child because God made you,

He loves you, and He has a wonderful plan for your life.

😊 Let’s Do Something This Week

This week, try these three simple things:

  • Tell someone in your family, “I love you.”

  • Use kind words every day.

🎯 Theme: Trust God with What Seems Impossible

📖 Today’s Bible Verse

Matthew 19:26 (NLT)

“Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

💖🧸 Let’s Learn Together

Good, Blessed Encouraging Mondays, Boys, Girls & Families!

Have you ever looked at something and thought,

“There’s no way I can do that!”

Maybe you’ve had a really hard school assignment.

Maybe you were learning to ride a bike.

Maybe you were nervous about making a new friend or trying something new.

Sometimes things seem impossible to us.

But Jesus reminds us of something wonderful.

He said,

“Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

That doesn’t mean everything will happen exactly the way we want.

It means that God is bigger than every problem we face.

When we pray, God hears us.

When we trust Him, He helps us.

When we don’t know what to do, God gives us wisdom.

Even when something seems too hard for us, nothing is ever too hard for God.

So whenever you feel afraid, worried, or like giving up, remember:

God is with you.

God loves you.

God is always able to do what is best.

You can trust Him every single day.

🙏🏼 Today’s Prayer

Perfect LORD,

Thank You that nothing is impossible for You.

When we face things that seem too hard,

help us remember that You are always with us.

Help us trust You with every problem, every worry, and every prayer

that we’re waiting to see answered in Your perfect timing,

and with every situation that seems impossible.

Help us remember that Your plans are always good,

Your wisdom is perfect, and Your love never fails.

Thank You for loving us, guiding us, strengthening our faith,

and reminding us that we can always trust You.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

🧸🤔 Think About It

  • What is something that feels hard for you right now?

  • How does knowing that nothing is impossible for God help you feel stronger?

  • What can you do when you start to feel worried or afraid?

🧸😊 This Week’s Challenge

Every morning this week, say:

🎯 Lesson Target/Theme: Anchored in the LORD

📖 Today’s Bible Verse

Hebrews 6:19 (NLT)

“This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls…”

😊 Let’s Learn Together

😊👋🏼💖Good, Blessed Encouraging Mondays, Boys, Girls & Families!

Have you ever seen a big boat sitting on the water?

Do you know what helps keep it from drifting away?

An anchor!

An anchor is heavy and holds the boat in place when the wind blows or the water becomes rough.

God wants us to remember something important:

When life feels confusing—for example, when you don’t understand why something happened…

When you’ve had a hard day—maybe a friend hurt your feelings, you didn’t do as well on a test as you hoped, or someone wasn’t kind to you…

When you feel worried—maybe you’re nervous about trying something new, spending your first day at camp, or sleeping away from home…

Or when things don’t go the way we planned…

Jesus is our anchor!!!

That doesn’t mean difficult days will never happen.

It means we never have to face them alone.

God stays with us.

He loves us.

He helps us.

Just like an anchor keeps a boat from drifting away, God’s love and His promises help keep our hearts strong and steady.

Whenever you feel afraid or unsure, remember this:

Put your hope in God!

He is always faithful.

He is always good.

He is always with you.

🙏🏼 Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for always loving us.

Thank You for being our strong and steady anchor.

When we feel afraid, help us remember that You are with us.

When we feel worried, help us place our hope in You.

Help us trust You every day and remember that Your love never changes.

Thank You for taking care of us and helping us stand strong in every season.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

🤔🧸 Think About It

  • What does an anchor do for a boat?

  • How can remembering God’s promises help us when we feel worried?

  • Who can you talk to when you need help remembering that God is always with you?

💛🧸 This Week’s Challenge

Every morning this week, say:

“Jesus is my anchor. I will put my hope in Him today.”

Then before you begin your day, thank God for one thing He has done for you.

Maybe He gave you a good night’s sleep.

Maybe He woke you up this morning.

Maybe He gave you a loving family, a favorite toy, a fun day at camp, a new friend, or a delicious meal.

Every good gift comes from God, and saying “thank You” helps us remember how much He loves us.

💖🧸 Encouragement for Today

No matter where you go…

No matter what happens…

God is always with you.

His love never changes.

His promises are always true.

You can trust Him every day because your hope is anchored in the LORD.

🧸💖 Today’s Proclamation

Today we choose to put our hope in the LORD.

We know that Jesus is our strong and steady anchor.

When we feel afraid or worried, we will remember that God is always with us.

We will trust Him, follow Him, and thank Him for His love every day.

💞 MUCH LOVE FOR YOU ALL.

😊😎Have a blessed, safe, wonderful day, week, and summer!

🎯 Jesus Will Help You Carry Your Burdens

🙏🏼 Opening Scriptures (NLT)

🙏🏼 Matthew 11:28–30 (NLT)

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens,

and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble

and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

📖1 Peter 5:7 (NLT)

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

🧸 Read Together This Week

  • Psalm 68:19

  • Psalm 55:22

  • Philippians 4:6–7

🧸Today’s Lesson

Have you ever had a backpack that felt too heavy?

Maybe you filled it with too many books or toys, and it was hard to carry.

Sometimes our hearts can feel heavy too.

Maybe you’re worried about something.

Maybe you miss someone.

Maybe you’re afraid of something.

Maybe you had a hard day.

The wonderful news is that Jesus doesn’t want you to carry those heavy feelings all by yourself.

He says,

“Come to Me.”

That means you can talk to Jesus anytime.

You can tell Him exactly how you feel.

He already knows what is in your heart, and He loves you very much.

When you pray, Jesus helps carry the things that feel too heavy for you.

He gives you peace.

He gives you courage.

He reminds you that you are never alone.

Whenever a worry comes into your mind this week, remember this:

Jesus is always ready to listen, help, and love you.

🙏🏼 Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me so much.

Thank You for caring about everything that happens in my life.

When I feel worried, scared, or sad, help me remember that I can always come to You.

Please give me peace, courage, and a heart that trusts You every day.

Thank You for always being with me.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

🧸 Think About It

  • What is one thing you can talk to Jesus about today?

  • How does it make you feel knowing Jesus wants to help you?

🧸 Living It Out

This week, whenever you start to worry, stop for a moment and say:

“Jesus, I’m giving this to You because I know You care about me.”

Then take a deep breath and remember:

Jesus is with you wherever you go.

🙏🏼 Today’s Proclamation

Today I choose to give my worries to Jesus.

Jesus loves me, cares for me, and is always with me.

I do not have to be afraid because Jesus is helping me every day.

I will trust Him with my whole heart.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

🧸 Encouragement for Today

Always remember…

You are loved.

You are important.

You are never alone.

Jesus is always with you, and He is always ready to help you carry whatever feels too heavy.

Much love for you all!

Have a blessed day, a blessed week, and a blessed summer!

🎯Theme: “Gratitude Changes the Day”

📖 KEY VERSE (NLT – Child-Friendly)

Psalm 118:24

“This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

🧸 TODAY’S MESSAGE FOR KIDS

Tell the children:

Have you ever had a day where something didn’t go the way you wanted?

Maybe your favorite toy broke.

Maybe someone said something that hurt your feelings.

Maybe you didn’t get picked first.

Maybe you had to do something you didn’t want to do.

Sometimes things happen that can make us feel sad, frustrated, disappointed, or upset.

And do you know what?

😊 God understands those feelings.

But God also wants us to remember something important.

Even on hard days, there is still something to be thankful for.

😊 That is called gratitude.

💛 Gratitude means noticing the good things God is doing, even when everything isn’t perfect.

Maybe your day wasn’t perfect, but you still had food to eat.

Maybe you had a hard moment, but you still had someone who loves you.

Maybe something didn’t go your way, but God still gave you another day to learn, grow, and try again.

💛God gives us so many gifts every day.

He gives us breath.

He gives us family.

He gives us friends.

He gives us opportunities to learn.

He gives us His love.

And He promises that He is always with us.

Sometimes when we focus only on what went wrong, we can miss the blessings that are right in front of us.

But when we stop and thank God, our hearts begin to feel lighter.

💛 We remember:

God is still good.

God is still helping me.

God is still with me.

God still loves me.

🧸 So this week, whenever you feel disappointed or frustrated, try asking yourself:

“What is one thing I can thank God for right now?”

You might be surprised how quickly your heart begins to smile.

🧸 Reassurance Statement:

Even on hard days, God loves you, stays with you, listens to your prayers,

and helps you find reasons to be thankful.

🍎 CHILD-FRIENDLY TEMPLE CARE MOMENT

🧸 Teach them:

God gave us amazing bodies, and one way we can thank Him is by taking care of them.

Water helps us think, move, learn, play, and grow.

When we take care of our bodies, we’re showing gratitude for the gifts God has given us.

Poem Title: FOOD DETECTIVE🕵🏼‍♀️

**God made your body special,

from your head down to your feet.

So be a little Food Detective

every time you eat!

Look for ‘added sugar’ —

if it’s zero, that’s the clue

that this food will help your body

do what it’s made to do.

Crunch veggies, sip water,

try fruits in every hue…

Healthy choices make you strong,

and God is proud of YOU! ** 🌈🍐
