💞Encouraging Mondays: Be Steadfast — Strength That Stays
😊Good, Blessed Encouraging Mondays, Family, Friends & New Encouragers!
🙌🏽Before we continue, I want to pause and acknowledge something meaningful. To everyone celebrating a birthday this month, to everyone celebrating an anniversary, to those honoring milestones, and to those who have remained faithful to resolutions and commitments, big or small: We see you. We celebrate you.
Whether you chose to read more, rest more, watch less television, be more present with your family, care for your health, or simply stay committed to growth, your effort matters.
Happy Birthday! Happy Anniversary! Congratulations on every milestone and every resolution kept!
You are loved. You are supported. And you are not doing this alone!
💛Today’s message is entitled:
“Be Steadfast — Strength That Stays”
📖SCRIPTURE READING — (ESV)
“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in
the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV)
🤔ENCOURAGING MONDAYS REFLECTION
“Internal Posture Before External Pressure”
Family…
For the entire month of March, we are sitting in this one verse.
We are not rushing past it.
We are not skimming it.
We are going to sit in it.
And today, we begin with two words:
**Be steadfast.
**Steadfast is not about faith in theory.
It is about endurance in real life.
It is easy to say, “I have faith,” when everything is going well.
But what about when plans shift?
When people shift?
When circumstances shift?
When prayers feel unanswered?
God answers every prayer.
Sometimes the answer is yes.
Sometimes the answer is no.
Sometimes the answer is wait.
**But He answers.
So, the real question becomes:
Will I remain steadfast when the answer is not what I wanted?
**Steadfast means:
Unwavering.
Consistent.
Rooted.
Firmly planted.
✔It is an internal posture before external pressure ever shows up.
✔It is choosing not to quit when feelings shift.
✔It is choosing not to abandon your faith when outcomes delay.
✔It is choosing not to disconnect from God when life feels unclear.
😊God is inviting us this month to examine our posture.
Not our performance.
Not our perfection.
Our posture.
🤔What does steadfast require of me?
Does it require patience?
Does it require humility?
Does it require releasing control?
Does it require trusting God beyond what I see?
😊The Lord is gently reminding us:
Steadfastness is strength that stays.
And when your roots are deep, storms may shake you — but they cannot uproot you.
🤔ENCOURAGING THOUGHT FOR TODAY
If you’ve been feeling:
• discouraged because prayers seem delayed
• tired of waiting on clarity
• tempted to give up on something God called you to
Pause and remember:
✔You are not rejected.
✔You are not forgotten.
✔You are not out of reach.
✔God is still speaking.
✔God is still drawing.
✔God is still walking with you.
💛Stay planted.
🍎 TEMPLE CARE CHECK-IN
Steadfastness applies to the body as well.
Consistency over extremes.
Faithfulness over bursts of motivation.
You may be:
• consistent
• restarting
• adjusting
• learning
• observing
And all of it still counts.
😊Steadfastness in small daily habits builds strength over time.
🙏🏽 CLOSING PRAYER
Father God,
Teach us how to be steadfast.
When emotions shift, steady us.
When circumstances change, anchor us.
When answers delay, remind us that You are still working.
Help us to develop an internal posture of trust before pressure ever arrives.
Root us deeply in You.
In Jesus’ Perfect, Mighty Name,
We Praise and we Pray,
Amen. 🙌
🙏🏽 DAILY PROCLAMATION
Before we close, I want to invite you—only if you feel led—to say a daily proclamation with me.
This is the proclamation I return to daily.
Not out of perfection, but out of surrender.
From Survival to Surrender — My Daily Proclamation
God, today I stop negotiating with You.
I stop hiding parts of my life behind excuses, wounds, and fear.
I stop managing sin instead of surrendering it.
I stop calling survival “strength” when it is really exhaustion.
I release every attachment that feels good but pulls me away from truth.
I let go of relationships, habits, and cycles that soothe me temporarily but cost me spiritually.
I acknowledge what I already know:
what does not align with You cannot heal me.
Today, I surrender control.
I surrender comfort.
I surrender timing.
I surrender the false intimacy I’ve used to avoid true wholeness.
I choose alignment over appetite.
Obedience over urgency.
Healing over hiding.
God, I no longer want to survive — I want to live whole.
I invite You into every area I’ve kept guarded, delayed, or divided.
Lead my life.
Heal my heart.
Reorder my desires.
From this moment forward, I choose surrender —
not because I am weak,
but because You are strong.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
💞CLOSING BLESSING
Much love for you all!
😊Have an amazingly Blessed day and week.
