🌈Encouraging Mondays: Strength That Holds You Through
😊 Good, Blessed Encouraging Mondays, Family, Friends & New Encouragers!
Today’s message is entitled:
💕 “Strength That Holds You Through”
📖 SCRIPTURE READING — (NLT)
Philippians 4:13
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
💖 ENCOURAGING MONDAYS REFLECTION
“Strength in the Middle of It”
Family…
God is inviting us to understand that His strength is not just for starting something…
It’s for staying in it.
Many times, when we hear this scripture, we think about accomplishing something—finishing a goal, overcoming a challenge, or stepping into something new.
But what about the moments where nothing is changing quickly?
What about the days when:
• the situation is still difficult
• the answer hasn’t come yet
• the weight still feels heavy
This is not about perfection.
This is about endurance.
The Lord is gently reminding us that His strength is not only seen in breakthrough…
It is also experienced in the process.
God’s presence brings a strength that helps you keep going—even when things don’t shift right away.
And endurance doesn’t always look like something big or dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like:
getting up and continuing when you feel mentally drained
choosing not to give up on something God has placed in your heart.
staying steady when your emotions feel inconsistent
Endurance is not about pretending everything is okay.
It’s about remaining connected to God in the middle of what is not easy.
Because the truth is:
You may still be in it…
But you are not in it alone.
And God’s strength is not just getting you through the finish line—
it is holding you steady in the middle.
💖 ENCOURAGING THOUGHT FOR TODAY
If you’ve been feeling:
• tired of waiting for things to change
• discouraged because progress feels slow
• mentally worn from carrying the same situation
Pause and remember:
You are not stuck—you are being sustained.
You are not forgotten—you are being strengthened
You are not alone—God is still with you.
God is still speaking. God is still drawing.
God is still walking with you.
And He is strengthening you even here.
💖 ENCOURAGING ACTION
(Based on today’s Encouraging Thought)
So, what does this look like in your everyday life?
When you wake up and feel like you don’t have the energy to face the day—Before getting up, pause and say:
“Lord, give me the strength for today.
I don’t have to carry tomorrow—just help me with today.”
When you find yourself frustrated because something hasn’t changed yet—Instead of letting that frustration build, pause and say:
“God, help me stay steady while You are working, even if I don’t see it yet.”
When you feel like giving up on something important—Take a moment and say:
“Lord, remind me why I started. Strengthen me to continue.”
When your mind keeps going back to the same worry or pressure—Pause and shift your focus by saying:
“God, I trust You with what I can’t control right now.”
You don’t have to solve everything.
Just choose one moment today to stay connected to God instead of shutting down or giving up.
That is how endurance is built—one moment at a time.
🍎 TEMPLE CARE CHECK-IN
This journey is not about guilt or extremes.
It’s about awareness, stewardship, and grace.
You may be:
• consistent
• restarting
• adjusting
• learning
• observing
And all of it still counts.
This week let’s connect endurance to how we care for our bodies.
When your body feels tired, your mind often follows.
Choose ONE way to support your energy this week:
• Get to bed 15–20 minutes earlier at least one night
• Step outside for fresh air when you feel mentally drained
• Drink water before reaching for caffeine or sugar
• Take a short walk instead of pushing through exhaustion
As you care for your body, remember:
Endurance is not just pushing harder.
Sometimes it’s learning when to pause, restore, and continue.
🙏🏼 CLOSING PRAYER
Lord,
Thank You for Your presence, Your patience, and Your light.
Bring our hearts into alignment with You.
Shine on every place that needs clarity, healing, and renewal.
When we feel tired, strengthen us.
When we feel discouraged, steady us.
When we feel like giving up, remind us that You are still with us.
Help us to keep going—not in our own strength, but in Yours.
Teach us how to endure with peace, not pressure.
And remind us that even in the waiting, You are working.
Help us walk honestly, live intentionally,
and rest confidently in You.
Cleanse us.
Guide us.
Renew us.
In Jesus’ powerful, majestic name,
we praise and pray, Amen.
🙏🏼DAILY PROCLAMATION
Before we close, I want to invite you—only if you feel led—to say a daily proclamation with me.
This is the proclamation I return to daily.
Not out of perfection, but out of surrender.
From Survival to Surrender — My Daily Proclamation
🙏🏼 God, today I stop negotiating with You.
I stop hiding parts of my life behind excuses, wounds, and fear.
I stop managing sin instead of surrendering it
I stop calling survival “strength” when it is really exhaustion.
I release every attachment that feels good but pulls me away from truth.
I let go of relationships, habits, and cycles that soothe me temporarily but cost me spiritually
.I acknowledge what I already know:
what does not align with You cannot heal me.
Today, I surrender control.
I surrender comfort.
I surrender timing.
I surrender the false intimacy I’ve used to avoid true wholeness.
I choose alignment over appetite.
Obedience over urgency.
Healing over hiding.
God, I no longer want to survive — I want to live whole.
I invite You into every area I’ve kept guarded, delayed, or divided.
Lead my life.
Heal my heart.
Reorder my desires.
From this moment forward, I choose surrender —
not because I am weak,
but because You are strong.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
