🌟MERRY CHRISTMAS: Celebrating the Birth of Jesus
🌿Good Blessed Encouraging Mondays Family, Friends, and New Encouragers! 🎄
We are celebrating the birth of Jesus: Read The Bible passage of Luke 2:2-21! Enjoy the message below which summarizes this passage!
Celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ
“For today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is the Messiah, the Lord.” — Luke 2:11 (NLT)
Christmas is not simply a season—it is a sacred reminder that God stepped into humanity, wrapped in flesh, humility, and love.
In Luke chapter 2, we are reminded that the birth of Jesus did not come with fanfare or royal comfort, but through obedience, surrender, and divine purpose. Joseph and Mary followed God’s direction, even when it required inconvenience, uncertainty, and trust. There was no room in the inn, yet heaven made room for earth’s greatest gift.
That holy night, shepherds—ordinary people doing ordinary work—were chosen to receive extraordinary news. Heaven broke open with praise, and the angels declared what the world still needs to hear today:
“Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”
(Luke 2:14, NLT)
The shepherds did not hesitate. They went to see Jesus for themselves, and after encountering Him, they could not keep the news to themselves. Scripture tells us they told everyone what had happened. Mary, meanwhile, treasured these moments quietly—pondering them, holding them close, trusting God’s unfolding plan.
And eight days later, the Child was given the name spoken by heaven itself:
Jesus — “The Lord saves.”
🌿 A Christmas Reflection
The same Savior born in a manger still invites us today:
To come and see
To slow down and reflect
To worship, not just with words, but with our lives
This Christmas, may we remember that Jesus is the gift—not wrapped in paper, but wrapped in promise.
Not temporary, but eternal.
Not distant, but near.
🙏🏼 Christmas Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for meeting us in humility, for bringing light into darkness, and hope into a waiting world. Help us, like the shepherds, to respond with obedience and praise—and like Mary, to treasure Your Word in our hearts. May our lives glorify You, not just this season, but always.
In Jesus’ Holy name,
We Praise and we Pray,
Amen & Amen!
Love you all much! Have a Blessed Christ-Centered Christmas Day! 🎄✨
