💖A Birthday Poem for My Son — Shared with Love
🎂 Today I’m celebrating my son Shaun’s 41st birthday. As I reflected on God’s goodness, I wrote this poem based on Psalm 16:11. While it was written especially for him, I wanted to share it with love in hopes that it also encourages anyone celebrating a birthday, a milestone, or simply thanking God for another day of life. May these words remind us all that God’s presence brings joy, purpose, hope, and peace as we continue walking the path He has prepared for us.

Psalm 16:11 reminds us that God lovingly directs our steps as we trust Him. His presence is where true joy is found—not in our circumstances, but in walking with Him. As we continue to follow His path, He leads us with purpose, surrounds us with His peace, and fills our lives with a hope that lasts forever.

Another year, another page, another chapter, another age.
God has carried you every mile, through every season, every trial.
His faithful hand has never let go, even when you could not always see or know.
He’s writing a story still unfolding today, gently guiding your steps along His way.
Psalm Sixteen reminds us it’s true, God has a path prepared for you.
His presence brings a joy so deep, a promise forever He will keep.
So lift your eyes, keep pressing on, remember the darkest night still welcomes dawn.
His mercy is fresh with every sunrise. His purpose is greater than what meets our eyes.
The man you’re becoming, day by day, is being shaped in God’s own way.
Not by yesterday, nor by regret, but by God’s grace that’s working yet.
So, celebrate this birthday knowing God is faithful, still growing, still restoring, still leading your life with wisdom overflowing.
May His peace surround you.
May His strength uphold you.
May His love remind youthat you have never walked alone.
Happy Birthday, Son.

And I’m thanking God for the wonderful work He continues to do in your life.
